Miss TransforMe Ayiti 2020 was an event to commemorate the Miss TransforMe Ayiti Pageant Day in North Miami. This pageant gives a young lady an opportunity to compete for a scholarship, a free launch your non-profit online course and all expense trip to Haiti, where she would be able to participate in community engagement and servant leadership opportunities. This pageant has happened annually for three years, with the purpose of celebrating young Haitian American women while promoting culture, entrepreneurship and community service. The Miss TransforMe Ayiti pageant is an integral part of the mission of the nonprofit TransforMe Ayiti. The 6 contestants of the Miss TransforMe Ayiti 2020 pageant contestants were, Seener Levielle of Florida Atlantic University, Sarah Saint-Fleur of Florida Atlantic University, Djouna Borgella of Florida Atlantic University, Clandya Appolon of Blanche Ely High School, Manika Joseph of Barry University, and Ashley Demosthene of Palm Beach State College who was also crowned Miss TransforMe Ayiti 2020. Ashley Demosthene won a $2000 scholarship and a launch your nonprofit course. What prompted Jadine Louissaint to start the nonprofit TransforMe Ayiti, was a perfect stranger calling her out on her faith in 2015. That prompt allowed her to see that she had much more life to give to herself and to others. She decided to talk a leap of faith and stop existing and allow herself to do more. TransforMe Ayiti began making its mark in the nonprofit world and continues to do great work. One of the new initiatives is the YOUnique Academy cohorts being established in rural Haiti. The YOUnique Academy cohorts is a mentoring program that encompasses both activity-based learning and hands on activities to facilitate and foster a holistic view of selflove. This academy is expected to impact the community by providing young girls and opportunity to grown and build businesses as well as be impacted by resources and tools for success in many other aspects.

TransforMe Ayiti looks to continue providing young girls and the Haitian community services that encourage success, servant leadership and resourcefulness. This organization hope that the Miss TransforMe Ayiti Pageant can expand to the country of Haiti. Building partnerships Haiti’s local communities and to eventually have the YOUnique Academy curriculum in schools, providing more young ladies with access to the tools and resources we provide. People can support the Miss TransforMe Ayiti Pageant through prayer, volunteering and by donating funds .
