The 2025 Met Gala opened with an all Black gospel choir singing on the blue carpet, leaving us all in awe. To our discovery, the creative director and arranger of the choir was none other than proud Haitian-American Broadway composer, arranger, and Artistic Director of Broadway Inspirational Voices-Allen René Louis.

Leading the powerful Black choir to open the 2025 Met Gala red carpet with “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” 🎶. He attributes his musicality to being raised in his father’s church and trained at Manhattanville College.

Allen is celebrated for his soulful musicality and inspiring leadership. From performing with Ben Platt to shaping Broadway’s sound.

WE don’t know about you, but we love celebrating everything Haitian over here.
